Rules & Regulations
Eligibility Participants must be 19 years of age or older. Tickets may only be purchased by individuals physically located in Nova Scotia at the time of purchase, unless otherwise permitted by the applicable lottery licence. Members of the raffle administration team may purchase tickets unless prohibited by law or licence conditions. Ticket Packages Tickets are sold in the following bundles: 1 ticket for $5 3 tickets for $10 10 tickets for $20 20 tickets for $50 The Club reserves the right to adjust ticket packages for future raffles. Prize The winner will receive 50% of gross ticket sales. The remaining 50% will be retained by Abenaki Aquatic Club to support club operations and programs. The prize amount will be displayed and updated throughout the sales period when possible. Draw Procedure The draw date and time will be publicly advertised. One winning ticket number will be randomly selected using the approved electronic raffle platform. The draw will occur regardless of the number of tickets sold. Winner Notification The winner will be contacted using the information provided at the time of purchase. Winners must provide identification and any required documentation before payment is issued. If the winner cannot be contacted within 90 days (3) months, the Club will follow the requirements outlined by the lottery licensing authority and proceed with a 2nd draw. Payment of Prize Prize payments will be issued by cheque or electronic transfer. The winner is responsible for any tax implications resulting from receipt of the prize. Refunds All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued unless required by law. Technical Issues The Club is not responsible for interruptions in internet service, technical failures, or other circumstances beyond its control that may affect ticket purchases. Compliance The raffle will be conducted in accordance with all applicable Nova Scotia gaming and lottery regulations and the conditions of the raffle licence. Privacy Participant information will only be used for raffle administration and Club communications in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. Right to Amend The Club reserves the right to amend these rules where necessary to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
